Linden, Tenn. -Bethel Head Coach Jeff Britt traveled to Linden, Tennessee recently and picked up one of the best scorers in the state with the signing of Cannon Rhodes from Perry County High School. Cannon is the son of Mike and Kristie Rhodes of Lobelville, Tennessee. His dad, "The Linden Long Rifle" was a star for Vanderbilt in the late 70's and early 80's. He was coached at Perry County by former Indiana University and Perry County star Kirk Haston.

Bethel's Baillie Johnson Named NAIA Scholar
 

Greenville, Tenn. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 105 women's golf student-athletes have been named 2012Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Campbellsville (Ky.) and William Woods (Mo.) tied for the lead amongst all institutions with four honorees apiece.

Starkville, Miss. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has announced its 2012 NAIA All-Region teams. This season, 134 student-athletes representing 46 institutions were chosen for either a first or second team in each of the Association's five regions. Bethel's Brooklyn Jenkins was named to the East Region Second Team.
