MCKENZIE, Tenn. - Canadian Ryan Johnsen signed with the Bethel University In-Line Hockey Cats recently. The incoming freshman is from Beaumont, Alberta and is the son of Frank and Ann Johnsen of Beaumont. He will major in Business Management.

MCKENZIE, Tenn. -After serving as a graduate assistant for two  seasons and an assistant coach for four years Cliff Barna has hung up his football cleats and beginning a new service with athletics at Bethel University. Barna has accepted the position of Chaplain of Athletics at the school serving the various 28 sports programs, coaches, staff, and over 750 student-athletes.

Coach Melvin Belong Begins 8th Season as Head Coach of the Cats

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The Bethel Wildcats were ranked No. 22 in the 2014 NAIA Coaches' Preseason Top 25 poll, the national office announced Tuesday. The Wildcats finished 10-6-1 in 2013. The SSAC claims the most teams in the Top 25 among all conferences/independents/unaffiliated groupings: Martin Methodist, Auburn Montgomery, William Carey, Bethel and Belhaven. Defending national champion Martin Methodist took the top spot in the poll.
