MCKENZIE, Tenn. - Going into the Bass Masters College National Championship John Garrett and Brian Pahl are ranked the number one collegiate bass team in the nation just 16 points ahead of Bethel team mates KJ Queen and Evan Owrey.

MCKENZIE, Tenn. - Bethel's K J Queen and Evan Owrey are ranked as one of America's top collegiate bass fishing teams going into the Bassmasters College National Championship and have a good chance to finish high in the championship competition. The pair have finished in the top five in almost every tournament they have fished in 2017 and are also ranked number two in the nation just 16 points behind Bethel University teammates John Garrett and Brian Pahl.

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel University Wildcat Archery program signed all-around sportsman Alex Hyman recently. Alex played football, golf, and participated in trap shooting during his prep career at Dyer County High School in Newbern, Tennessee. He is the son of Stan Hyman and Darla Davidson of Newbern and will major in Biology at Bethel.
