MCKENZIE, Tenn. (May 7, 2008) – Bethel College tight end, Buck Reed, holds two very prestigious distinctions. He was the first ever Wildcat to attended an NFL Camp and now is the first to sign an NFL contract. Reed attended the Detroit Lions' Rookie Camp from May 2-5, 2008 at the Detroit Lions training facility located just west of Detroit between Allen Park and Dearborn. Reed impressed the coaches enough to be offered a contract and an invitation back. Reed stated he does not yet know the dates when he will be returning.

MCKENZIE, Tenn. (May 5, 2008) – Good pitching is always hard to find. But, this time the Bethel baseball coaches didn't have to look very far. The Wildcats got some much needed pitching depth for next year with the signing on McKenzie High School standout Clint Kee. Clint is the son of Tina and Steve Kee; his brother Benji also attended the signing.

McKenzie, Tenn.(May 5, 2008) Gavin McDaniel, a 6-5, 193-pound forward from Wynne, Arkansas has decided to continue his basketball career at Bethel College, Wildcat head coach Jeff Britt announced today.
