MCKENZIE, Tenn. – After a lengthy weather delay with lightning in the Carroll County area the Bethel Lady Wildcat soccer squad hosted No. 25 Cumberland University Tuesday afternoon in McKenzie. Both teams had to wait 90 minutes to begin their season. CU dominated the game out shooting the Lady Cats 30-2 in the contest and won 1-0.

MCKENZIE, Tenn. -The Bethel Lady Wildcats open their season Tuesday hosting Cumberland University at 3 p.m. The game will be played at newly renovated Wildcat Stadium.

The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 9-9-1 2015 season. They were 4-4 in the tough Southern States Athletic Conference.  The Lady Wildcats have high hopes for 2016 with six seniors and five juniors coming back providing talent and experience.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Coastal Georgia, winner of two of the past three NAIA Men's Golf National Championships, was selected as the favorite to claim this year's SSAC title in the 2016-17 SSAC Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll, the conference office announced Friday. The Mariners received 8-of-10 first-place votes and accumulated 98 points en route to the No. 1 ranking.  The Bethel Wildcats were picked eighth in the poll.
