McKenzie, Tenn. (07.15.10) - Melvin Belong's Bethel University Residential Soccer Camp concluded Thursday on a high note as over 50 soccer players traveled home after four days of fun and instruction. Players in attendance represented several states and cities. Games, tactical sessions, and technical sessions highlighted the activities throughout the week.
Several awards were given to some of the standout performers.
Spirit Award/Hustle Award- Austin Bentley
Golden Boot Award- Muhammed Dumbuya
Best Young Player Award- Eric Winkler
Coaches Award- Justin Haskell
Coach Belong said it was a hot but a very productive and fun week. "The players really concentrated and worked hard all week. I think they learned a lot but even more importantly had fun and established new friendships." Belong added. "The campers were very coachable and receptive to our instructions. We are excited several of these players will be freshman for us this year
