Wartburg's Cody Sexton Signs with Wildcats

McKenzie, Tenn. (07.20.10)-The Bethel Wildcat football program added an all-district offensive lineman from Wartburg, Tennessee this week. Cody Sexton, a 6'4 270 lineman played for Wartburg Central High School and was

First Team All- Morgan County.

The Physical Education major is the son of Terry and Tammy Corker of Wartburg.

He was a member of the Beta Club and was All-State Academic his senior year at Wartburg Central. 

He feels footwork is his biggest strength as a lineman. At Bethel he desires to become stronger and faster.

He was recruited by Southern Virginia University, Pikeville College and Tennessee Chattanooga.

He chose the Wildcats after a great visit to the campus.

Coach Dino Kaklis commented on the signing. "Cody will be a fine lineman for us. We are delighted he chose Bethel to complete his education and career."
