Bethel University was the check in center for the Cal Ripken 11 year old South East Region Baseball Tournament Wednesday afternoon.

Over 150 players and coaches registered at Baker Fieldhouse. Teams from Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, and Tennessee will compete throughout the week and into early next week  at McKenzie City Park.

McKenzie Mayor Walter Winchester and Carroll County Mayor Kenny McBride were on hand to greet the teams, coaches, and fans. 

Bethel Director of Athletics, Glenn Hayes said, " We are delighted to be a part of this great tournament. We wish all of the teams, coaches, parents, and fans a great time in McKenzie.
