McKenzie, Tenn. (07.21.10)-Hendersonville, Tennessee High School standout Ryan Weatherly is joining the Bethel University Men's Tennis team.
The Second Team 2010 All-State performer was 44-6 in his high school career. His high school team was a state quarterfinalist in 2010. Hendersonville High has won eight consecutive district and regional titles.
The Nursing major is the son of Tonya Weatherly of Hendersonville.
He feels determination and desire are his strengths. Being more aggressive at the net is one of his goals at Bethel.
He chose the Wildcats because he enjoyed his visit and was impressed with Coach Rafael Delgado.
Coach Delgado commented on the decision. "Ryan will be a great asset to our program. He is a respectful young man and I am looking forward to working with him."
