McKenzie, Tenn. (08.07.10)-Bethel Bowling Coach Clay Boyd completed his 2010-11 bowling squad with the addition of Kimberly Ferguson of Clarksville, Tennessee.
She was a member of the Purdue University bowling team for one season.
She competed in the Junior Nationals for three years. She has a high game of 279 with eleven strikes in a row. Her high average is 195 and high series at 714.
Kimberly has spent the last two years as a full-time volunteer with AmeriCorps in a program called ‘City Year' in Boston, Ma.
The Mathematics major is the daughter of Brent and Tamara Ferguson of Clarksville.
She feels her biggest strength is endurance and form.
She chose Bethel because of the exciting new experience of being a part of a new program.
Coach Boyd commented on the signing. "We are very happy to sign Kimberly. She will be a great asset to the team and school."
