Cordarious Mann Voted Conference Player of Week.

St.Xavier Cougar  Head Coach Mike Feminis told Bethel radio announcer  Dave McCulley after the Saturday night opener for both teams, Bethel's #11 scared him  to death every time he touched the ball.

Former Jackson North Side's Cordarious Mann did touch the ball with 15 carries for 152 yards and two touchdowns, Throw in two receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown and it is no surprise, Mann was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week for his efforts.

Mann, a 5'6 150 sophomore from Jackson helped lead the Cats to  a third quarter push which cut a 21 point deficit to just two with seven minutes left in the third quarter. He averaged 10.1 yards per carry. Bethel would eventually lose 49-32 but gave the No. 4 ranked Cougars all they wanted much of the contest.

Mann and the Cats (0-1)  travel to University-Wisconsin Eau Claire (0-0)  Saturday for a 7 p.m. kick-off, Catch the action on 100.9, The Farm at 6;30 p.m.
