Franklin, TN (December 17, 2007)-The Bethel College women’s basketball team welcomes Franklin High School’s Ginny St. Lawrence to the Lady Wildcat family. St. Lawrence is the third recruit to join the signing class for the 2008-2009 season. Ginny is the daughter of Joe and Patty St. Lawrence of Franklin, TN.

Ginny St. Lawrence is a 5’9 guard/forward for the Lady Rebels. She is a very versatile player. She currently averages five points, four rebounds, and two steals per game. St. Lawrence is a leader on and off the court. She brings a strong work ethic to the Lady Wildcat Basketball program.

Ginny stated that she chose Bethel because “it was the only campus that felt like home. I felt extremely welcomed into the Bethel family.” She continued, “The coaches and players are beyond what I expected. They were real, and went above and beyond to make me feel wanted.”

Franklin High School Head Coach Grover Levy said, “We’re excited for Ginny. It’s great for her as well as our program. Ginny is a perfect example of hard work paying off.” Coach Levy went on to say, “We’re looking forward to following her career at Bethel.”

Chris Nelson, Bethel College Head Coach, stated, “We are really excited about getting a person with her type of character and work ethic. It will be fun to watch her mature and grow throughout her years at Bethel.”
