
“These young men work hard in and out of the classroom. We have been fortunate to have these great student-athletes in our program,” said Head Coach Dino Kaklis. “I think Grady and Knox have made 48 starts for us. They haven’t missed a beat on the field or the classroom. That is very rare. And I expect Justin to perform at a high level again for us next year. I am proud of them and they are excellent choices to represent our school.”
In order to be a recipient of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award, one must fulfill these requirements: the recipient must be a junior or above in academic standing; has been in attendance at the nominating institution a minimum of one full year of attendance; has a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of nomination at the nominating institution; has been certified as eligible.
Bethel competes in the NAIA and the Mid-South Conference West Division. The Wildcats finished the year with a number four ranking and made it to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Football Championship Series for the second year in a row.
