They are currently in second place in the league one game behind No. 1 ranked Union. Bethel and Union meet Thursday night in Jackson. Tip-off at Fred DeLay gym is at 6 p.m.

Bethel has won seven straight games with their last lost to Union back on January 6 in McKenzie. The seven game winning streak ties the second most consecutive wins for the Lady Cats in the last five years. Bethel won eight straight games last year and seven straight back in the 2006-07 season.
Bethel Coach Chris Nelson said it is another step for the progam as his squad continues to take one game at a time. " We continue to grow as a team. Our ladies know we have to take one game at a time to reach our eventual goal. We had some tough games last week and we realize the challenge ahead of us.".
