San Antonio, Texas -The Bethel University Wildcat Shooting Team will be receiving a check for $1000 from the NRA as the award for the Most Improved High Overall Team after their third place finish in the recent national tournament.

The Bethel team improved 135 targets over last year, 10 more than the next team in the calculations. The biggest improvement year on year was in Sporting Clays, which were 82 targets better than last year.

Bethel Coach Thomas "Bob" Edwards was excited about the news. "This is fabulous and again is a result of the commitment and passion our student-athletes have for the program and school."
