McKenzie, Tenn. -Dyer County softball standout Catcher Caitlin Runions has signed with the Bethel Lady Wildcat Softball program.
The Pre-Professional Health major is the daughter of Terry and Patricia Runions of Dyersburg.
Caitlin finished in the top ten in her senior class with A 4.0 GPA. She won 1st place in the 2010 Dyer County Art competition.
She hit .348 with four home runs her senior season with the Lady Choctaws.
She chose Bethel because she liked the atmosphere and positive attitude around the campus. She likes the opportunities of playing softball and receiving a great education.
She was recruited by Jackson State, Lane, Southwest and Lambuth.
"Caitlin is an outstanding young lady who will be an asset to our program and Bethel University", said Bethel Head Coach Larry Geraldi.
