McKenzie, TN (September 26, 2007) – The Bethel College Lady Wildcats defeated Brescia University (Ky.) at home Wednesday night 3-0 (30-21; 30-18; 31-29). The Lady Wildcats improve to 6-8 on the season.

Lisa Sellers (JR/Brighton, TN) had a solid game with 19 kills, 32 attacks, five aces, 11 digs, and two block assists. Sophomore Michele Cunha (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) had four aces, 24 service receives, and 24 digs. Jessica Vieira, the freshman from Matozinhos, Brazil, recorded 13 kills, 25 attacks, three aces, 16 service receives, and five block assists. Senior Lisa Gaddie (Memphis, TN) picked up 40 of the team’s 41 assists in the contest. As a team, the Lady Wildcats had 58 kills, 123 attacks, 13 aces, and 50 digs.

The Lady Wildcats will take to the court again on Friday, September 28^th at 7PM as Lyon College (Ark.) comes to McKenzie, TN.
