Bethel's Antione Lesesene was named to the Second Team All-TranSouth Conference
NASHVILLE, TENN. (March 4, 2008) – Bethel College’s Antione Lesesene has been named Second Team All-TranSouth Conference. Six Wildcats, more than any other school earned TranSouth Scholar-Athlete Team honors.
 

Lesesene, a 6’6 junior, was fifth in the conference in scoring with 16.04/points per game. He ranked fourth in field goal percentage at 54% and fifth in total rebounds with 177 or 7.38/per game. He scored a season high 33 points against Crichton College and collected 16 rebounds against Lyon College.

The Wildcats were represented by six TranSouth Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2007-2008 season, more than any other school in the conference. Those earning a place on the list were Clint Blackburn (SR, Greenfield, TN), Hrvoje Devcic (SR, Zagreb, Croatia), Daniel Doyle (SO, Waynesboro, TN), Derek Demaree (SR, Dexter, MO), Brian French (JR, Camden, TN), and Otakar Schober (SO, Jihlava, Chech Rep.). To receive TranSouth Scholar-Athlete honors, the student-athlete must maintain a 3.0 or above cumulative grade point average and be of sophomore status or above.
