Nashville, Tenn. -The Bethel Cross Country teams competed in the Vanderbilt Invitational this past weekend. Both squads fared well against NAIA schools with second place finishes against fellow NAIA teams.

The Lady Cats came in 18^th out of 23 teams, while the men were 18^th of 22 squads. Alyssa Montague was Bethel's top performer on the women's side, while Nelphat Bor had the best time for the Bethel men.

Both teams will be back in action October 1 in the Union University Invitational in Jackson. The women begin at 8 a.m. with the men beginning at 9 a.m.
