Memphis, Tenn. -The Bethel Lady Wildcats improved to 9-4 on the season with a non-conference 2-1 win over CBU in Memphis Saturday afternoon.

Melissia Madden gave Bethel a 1-0 lead in the first half. CBU's Allison Tutt tied the contest, and the squads went to halftime tied at one.

Bethel's Deslyan Langaigne on an assist from Victoria Musyoki scored the only goal for either team in the second period.

Bethel outshot the Lady Bucs 25-15. Bethel's Jessica Coates recorded five saves on the day.

The Lady Cats will host Campbellsville Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Soccer Complex.
