Mo Dumbuya Leads Bethel Attack Early
 

McKenzie, Tenn. -The No. 5 Bethel Wildcats advanced to the 2011 NAIA Soccer National Championship Final Site in Orange Beach, Ala. Saturday with a convincing 6-1 win over Montreat (NC) AT Bethel's Soccer Complex in McKenzie, Tenn.

 

Mohammed Dumbuya scored two first period goals. Mario Vila Boa added a goal and Bethel was in command at halftime with a 3-0 lead. Boa added another goal in the second half. He received help from Juan Garzon and Vinicius Kerchner who each scored a goal in the Bethel rout. Rafael Karaoglan had two assists while Bethel's Dawyne Smith was credited with an assist for the Cats who improved to 14-2-2.Montreat ended at 11-9-1 0n the season.

Bethel outshot the visitors 30-10 on the day. Bethel's Fabian Doubek had six saves in the contest.

The Wildcats will move on to the single-elimination tournament being held from November 28-Dec. 3 in Orange Beach. Details coming later here at www.bethelathletics.com.
