Derek Demaree has been named to the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete list.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 24, 2008)- In a statement released by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Derek Demarre has been honored as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete.
 
Demaree a 6’7” senior from Dexter, Mo. is a Pre-Physician Assistant major and will be attending Pharmacy school upon graduation.
 
To qualify for this great honor, student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 grade point average on the 4.0 scale and be of junior status academically.
