MCKENZIE, Tenn. (April 1, 2008) – The Bethel Men's Golf team shot a team total of 639 at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill, Tenn. to secure fourth place at the Martin Methodist College Red Hawk Classic. The event was the second of the season for the Wildcats and the final tune-up for the TranSouth Conference Tournament.
 

Sam Bass tied for fourteenth shot a 157 improving his day one score of 81 by five strokes to a day two total of 76. Danny Andrews III scored a 159 (79, 80) to tie for 21st. Tyler Faulkner was 23rd with a 161. Cody Biggart tied for 24th but used two fewer strokes on day two (82, 80). Beau Brown finished with a score of 163 (81, 82) and Tyler Turnbow was five shots better on day two taking 31st shooting a 165 (85, 80).

Next up for the Wildcats is the opportunity to defend their 2007 TranSouth Tournament Championship. This year's Championship is going to be played at the Hermitage G.C., Chapel Hill, Tenn. on April 13-15.
