McKenzie, Tenn. -After losing 7-3 in game one of their twinbill with Olivet Nazarene Friday afternoon at Wildcat Field, the Bethel Wildcats bounced back and took game two 2-0. The Bat Cats scored single runs in the fourth and sixth innings and that proved to be enough to improve their record to 3-2 on the season.


Jason Overton and Turner Bush combined in holding ONU to just five hits in game two. Overton was the winner as he received support from Lance Jarreld who drove in both runs for the Wildcats. Jarreld also drove in two runs in game one where Joey Wilder took the loss. Celtic Rush had the other RBI in game one.

Bethel and Olivet play a single game Saturday at noon. The Bat Cats host Culver-Stockton in a doubleheader Sunday at Wildcat Field with the first pitch at noon.
