MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats took second place in the TranSouth Conference Tournament with a team score of 751. Emily Muse received two honors after shooting a 178 (90, 88). Muse was named Conference Freshman of the Year and earned All-TranSouth honors.
 

The Lady Wildcats trailed Trevecca Nazarene University by 45 strokes, but bested Lyon College by 47 and Martin Methodist College by 88 strokes. Afton Tankersley placed eighth with 183 (89, 94), Hayley Williams was ninth with 186 (97, 89) and Laura Turner was thirteenth with 204 (98, 106).

Laura Turner earned Academic All-Conference honors.

Next up for the Lady Wildcats is the 2007-08 Region XI Tournament, May 1-2, 2008, at Maywood Country Club in Bardstown, Ky.
