Henderson, TN (October 1, 2007) – The Bethel College Lady Wildcats were defeated 0-3 (26-30; 27-30; 18-30) by Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.) at Henderson, TN. The Lady Wildcats fall to 6-10 (3-5) as Freed-Hardeman stays in the top spot in the TranSouth at 9-0 and 13-0 on the season.

For the Lady Wildcats, Jessica Vieira (FR/Matozinhos, Brazil) had 11 kills, 34 attacks, 2 blocks, and 18 digs. Lisa Sellers (JR/Brighton, TN) finished with 11 kills, 32 attacks, and 21 digs. Sophomore Michlele Cunha (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) recorded 34 service receives and 31 digs. Cunha leads the TranSouth in digs per game at 7.4 with a total of 348 on the season. Senior Lisa Gaddie (Memphis, TN) finished the match with 28 assists and 14 digs. Senior Sarah Pipkin (Pinson, TN) recorded five total blocks in the match (1 solo/4 assist). Pipkin currently leads the NAIA in blocks with 2.4 per game and 109 total blocks on the season.

The Lady Wildcats will be on the road on Thursday, October 4th as they travel to Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.) for a 7PM match.
