MCKENZIE, Tenn. (Thursday, June 26, 2008) - The Bethel College Lady Wildcat Basketball Camp ended after four days of drills, instruction and a little fun. The young ladies received individual instruction from Lady Wildcats Head Coach Chris Nelson and current players. The camp was split into two different groups with third - fifth grades in the morning session and sixth - eight grades in the afternoon.

Campers received individual attention, gained overall knowledge of the game, and learned take-home techniques for future improvement. There were opportunities to participate in competitions as well as interact with the Lady Wildcat players.

"It was a great week for everyone involved. We had one of our best turnouts ever," said Nelson. "It's my goal to make this the best camp in West Tennessee. We had ten Lady Wildcat players work at the camp this week and it is an opportunity for them to pass on techniques and fundamentals that they have learned. It's the most fun our coaches and players get to have during the summer. "

Every participant received a camp t-shirt, a camp basketball and a camp certificate. There were also awards given in various categories.
