MCKENZIE, Tenn. (July 12, 2008) - Bethel College men's golf coach Dr. Jerry Wilcoxson is pleased with the addition of Kyle Webb to the 2008-09 class. Webb played at Piedmont High School in Alabama. He plans on majoring in Secondary Education with and emphasis in Biology. He is the son of Laura and Larry Webb, Jr.
 

In 2008 Webb was MVP of his golf team and was All-County. He was also MVP of the team in 2007 and 2006. Webb earned All-County honors in 2007 and served as the school's golf team captain in 2007 and 2008.

"Kyle is an exceptional student who also is a great golfer," said Wilcoxson. "He strikes the ball well and will make a great addition to our team."

Webb was a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Yearbook staff.

Bethel competes in the NAIA and the TranSouth Athletic Conference.
