
Michele Cunha and Lisa Sellers paced the Lady Wildcats offensively. Cunha posted a team high 12 kills and 32 attack attempts; she also dished up six service aces. Sellers had 11 kills with 19 attack attempts. Sellers served three aces. Abbey Masters led the team with 22 assists.
Defensively, Jessica Vieira led the team with 15 digs. Cunha wasn't far behind with 14 digs.
With the win, Bethel starts the season 1-0 and 1-0 in TranSouth Conference play. They will be on the road on Thursday, September 4, 2008 for another conference match-up in Pulaski, Tenn. against Martin Methodist College.
