Jackson, TN (October 11, 2007) – The Bethel College Women’s Cross Country team took first place in the Lambuth University Invitational held at Pinson Mounds National Park.
For the Lady Wildcats, Amber King (JR/McKenzie, TN) finished third overall in 22:15. Mallory Blankenship (FR/Savannah, TN) followed closely finishing 4th in 22:18. In 6th place, Ezim Amanchukwu completed the course in 23:12. Anna Martin (JR/Camden, TN) placed 7th in 23:22. Shantophia Seymour (SO/Nashville, TN) took 9th place in 24:04. in 10th place, Courtney Wiggins (SO/McKenzie, TN) finished in 24:30. Margot Creasman (JR/Rutherfordton, NC) finished in 25:56 for 12th place.
For the Wildcats, James Demba (SR/Banjul, Gambia) took 4th place in 29:24. Randon Prather (JR/Mayfield, KY) trailed for 5th place in 29:44. Sophomore Bill Robertson (Portland, TN) took the 12th spot in 32:27 as Ron Nieuwenhuis (FR/Centerville, TN) placed 16th in 35:02.
