McKenzie,, TN (October 16, 2007) – The Bethel College Lady Wildcats defeated Mid-Continent University (Ky.) 3-0 (30-11; 30-19; 30-15) in Tuesday night’s TranSouth match. The Lady Wildcats improve to 11-12 (7-6) as Mid-Continent falls to 2-16 (2-12) on the season. Bethel College is at the #6 spot in the TranSouth.

Bethel College’s Michele Cunha (SO/Belo Horizonte, Brazil) led the way with six aces, 22 service receives, and 29 digs. Sarah Pipkin (SR/Pinson, TN) posted 12 kills and 26 attacks. Senior Brittany Weller (Glendale, AZ) finished with 26 attacks and 18 kills. Lisa Sellers (JR/Brighton, TN) had 22 attacks. Lisa Gaddie (SR/Memphis, TN) finished the match with 22 assists.

The Lady Wildcats finished with a total of 132 attacks, 52 kills, 44 service receives, and 67 digs.
