DICKSON, Tenn. (04.21.09) - The Bethel men's golf team came in third at the TranSouth Conference Tournament. The 54-hole TranSouth Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships were played at the Greystone Golf Course in Dickson, Tenn. There were six teams and 30 golfers competing. The course played to a par of 72 over 6858 yards. The entire tournament was played in difficult weather conditions. Cumberland University won the tournament with a (306-294-315) 915. Martin Methodist shot a (308-317-316) 941 to finish second. The rest of the team results were; Bethel College (309-305-329) 943, Union University (311-312-320) 943, Trevecca (299-318-337) 954, and Lyon College (334-330-318) 982.

Bethel's Beau Brown was named to the All-TranSouth team.

Brown placed sixth with a score of 232 (75,74,83). Danny Andrews III finished tied for twelvth with a 237 (76,78,83). Sam Bass was tied for sixteenth at 239 (83,75,81). Josh Thomas was also sixteenth with 239 (75,78,86). Tyler Faulkner was tied for 26^th needing 251 (85,84,82).
