CONWAY, AR - The Bethel Lady Wildcat softball team opens their season Friday in Conway, Arkansas in the Central Baptist College Meltdown.

The Lady Wildcats face Ottawa Friday at 11:30 a.m. and then meet Bacone at 3:30 p.m. Bethel will face No. 1 ranked Oklahoma City Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and then wrap up their play in the tournament at 11 a.m. against Hannibal-LaGrange University on Saturday.

The Lady Wildcats are coming off of a 34 – 21 season and were 10 – 10 in the SSAC conference.  The 34 wins are the most since 2009 for a Lady Wildcat squad. Coach Larry Geraldi is entering his 10th season as the Lady Cats head coach. His next win will be his 200th career win at Bethel.

This year's schedule includes the always tough Southern States Athletic Conference teams along with No. 1 ranked Oklahoma City, Williams Baptist (NAIA National Finals), Freed Hardeman University, Union University, Central Baptist College, Cumberland University, and Missouri Baptist College.

The Lady Wildcats home opener is on Feb 23 vs Crowley's Ridge College with a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m.
