MCKENZIE, Tenn. (06.06.09) - The Bethel Wildcats baseball team has added Hardin County first baseman Corey Gray to the 2009-10 recruiting class. He is the son of Donna Wallace and Ty Gray.
"We are very excited about signing Corey," said Bethel Head Coach Rusty Thompson. "He is a very good offensive player who should really benefit our team in the future."
Gray was All-District last season hitting .320 with 12 home runs. Hardin County's 12-0 start to this past season was his most memorable moment playing ball for the Tigers. He plans on working to become a better breaking ball hitter.
Gray graduated with honors and will major in pre-engineering.
