MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Beavercreek High School (Ohio) standout Nicholas Wood recently signed with the Bethel University bowling program. Nicholas is the son of David and Sue Wood and will major in Accounting. 

He was a four sport varsity letterman (Bowling, Wrestling, Cross Country, and Track). His exploits in bowling were:   2015-2016 GDUSBC Youth Doubles Champion, 2017 Xtreme League Champion, 2017 Survivor League Champion and had high league game in both leagues, 2016-2017 Beaver Vu "Monster" Roller.

 He helped Beavercreek to become GWOC Division Champions. He was a 2016-2017 GWOC Scholar Athlete.

He feels his strengths are his ability to adjust to difficult lane conditions, and his strong perseverance.

Bethel Coach Clay Boyd said, "We are very excited that Nicholas has decided to join Bethel and our bowling family. Nicholas demonstrates a high level of character along with a high level of bowling ability. He will represent our program and university well."
