HUNTINGDON, Tenn. – The Bethel University In-line Hockey team played host to a benefit game Saturday night at the Bethel Hockey facility in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Fans had the opportunity to see the 2017 -18 Bethel squad perform and aid a great cause as proceeds benefited the Buddy Ball Special Needs Athlete League.

The squad was divided into two squads with the Purple unit meeting the Gold team.

Bethel Coach Ryne Potts said, "We had a great turn out and we raised over 1,000 dollars for a great cause. My players truly showed why they are champions of character. Two of our players after the game gave their sticks away to two great fans. We would like to thank all those who came out and supported this wonderful and fun event."

The event was held in conjunction with the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative.
