Malorie James of Gleason signs to play golf for the lady Wildcats
MCKENZIE, Tenn. (07.02.09) - Bethel Head Women's Golf Coach Monte Cunningham was pleased to announce the signing on Malorie James to the 2009-10 class. James played four years at Gleason High School. She is the daughter of Robert and Sheila James and Angie James.
While at Gleason, James was All-District for three years, All Region for two years, Gleason's Girls Best Golfer for three years and won the longest drive competition. James considers her long drives the strength of her game but wants to improve her short game while at Bethel.
Austin Peay State University also showed interest but James chose Bethel because it has small classes and is close to home.
James will major in Pre-Dental.
