MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats evened their SSAC record to 1-1 with a 6-2 win over visiting Brewton-Parker Saturday afternoon at the Bethel Soccer Complex in McKenzie.

Janine Dennis scored two goals for the Lady Wildcats while other goals were spread among four other players. Natani Tomlinson-Traill, Patricia Boyle, Danijela Kolaric and Paula Ferracini had single scores.   Traill, Melinda Sopka and Abigail Smith recorded assists in the game.

Bethel outshot BPU 34-2 and had a 20-2 advantage on shots on goal. BPU's Kaylee Jones recorded 14 saves in the match.

Bethel moved to 8-2 overall and 1-1 in league play. The victory snapped a two game losing streak. BPU fell to 0-7-1 and 0-2.

The Lady Cats host Williams Baptist Tuesday at 5 p.m.
