MCKENZIE, Tenn. – For the second time on the season the Bethel Lady Wildcats met the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions in a non-conference volleyball match-up. Bethel beat FHU 3-0 in Henderson September 7 but the Lady Lions beat the Lady Wildcats 3-2 Tuesday night in Crisp Arena.

Freed won 25-23, 25-7, 24-26, 23-25, 16-14.

Giulia Zilotti had a great effort with 33 digs. Katelyn Van Hooser had 21 assists and 17 digs. Brooke Burress had 20 assists and 15 digs. Brianca Mayfield contributed with 12 kills while Jessyca Watson had 10 kills on the night. 

Bethel lost their third straight and fifth of their last six to fall to 8-12 on the year. FHU improved to 7-10 on the season.  

The Lady Wildcats move back into league (SSAC) play Friday night at 6 p.m. hosting Middle Georgia State. They host Brewton-Parker Saturday at 1 p.m.
