Bethel came out quick, missing on their first three shots. But, at 31:25, Toni Barraco got the Lady Wildcats on the board with her first goal in a BU uniform. She was assisted by Rachel Rathbone and Kelly-Jade Whelen. The 1-0 lead was shot lived as just 6:20 later ODU scored to tie the game at 1-1.

In the second half, ODU went on the offensive out shooting Bethel 9-2. The Panthers also had an edge in corner kicks with 5-1. That offensive pressure led to the go-ahead and game-winning goal at 61:04.

Net minder Tashana Taylor saved six shots for the Lady Wildcats.
