The Wildcats looked to get off to a great start and compete with their OVC opponents. Bethel would see two lead changes early in the game and battle back and forth with the Racers. Murray State could not pull away as the Wildcats won the rebound battle 18-9 in the first half. The Racers would take a 41-26 lead into the locker room. Bethel only shot 35% from the field in the second half and Murray capitalized on several Wildcat turnovers to pull away for a 82-49 victory. Bethel will open their season on Friday, November, 9th against Reinhardt College.
