BATESVILLE, Ark. -- Bethel University's Dawyne Smith has been named the TranSouth Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 19-26, 2009.

Smith, a sophomore forward from Kingston, Jamacia, had a six point effort in an 8-0 triumph over Brescia University. The sophomore scored two goals and had two assists to help Bethel remain unbeaten and atop the NAIA National Men's Soccer Rankings.

The Wildcats have outscored their last three opponents by a score of 17-0 and sit at 10-0-3 overall and 3-0-2 in TranSouth play.
