Kansas City, Mo. - The ninth installment of the 2009 NAIA National Football Players of the Week were announced by the NAIA on Monday: Sean Fraser of Bethel (Tenn.) was named NAIA Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 1. These winners were chosen out of a pool of player of the week performers among 10 conferences and independents.

Fraser, a 5-11, 198 lbs. senior kicker from New Castle, England, accounted for 17 points during Bethel's 47-17 win over Kentucky Christian last Saturday. He was a perfect four-for-four on field goal attempts and went five-for-five on PAT's. His longest field goal was from 42 yards out and hit two more from 30-plus yards. In addition, he averaged 51.4 yards on 10 kick-offs. Fraser ranks first in the country in made field goals (14) and is ninth in kick scoring (7.1 ppg).
