MCKENZIE, Tenn. (11.07.09) - The Bethel Lady Wildcats moved forward in the TranSouth Conference women's soccer tournament with a 3-0 first round win over the Lady Bulldogs of Cumberland University. Tori Barraco did all the scoring for the Lady ‘Cats in the victory.
 

Bethel dominated the offense part of the game out shooting the Lady Bulldogs 20-1 in the contest.

In the first half the Lady Wildcats took 14 shots and got on the board late in the period. In the 32nd minute, Barraco scored with an assist from Marika Fukuta for a 1-0 lead.

Bethel continued to pressure in the second half and Barraco again found the net in the 70th minute with help from Kelly-Jade Whelen. Barraco didn't waste much time completing the hat trick scoring just three minutes later on a feed from Whelen.

Bethel evened their record up for the year at 5-5-5. Next up for the Lady ‘Cats is the semifinals against Union University. The match will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 6:00pm in Jackson, Tenn. Union defeated the Lady Wildcats in the regular season 1-0 in Jackson.
