She was named the JV MVP her freshman year, 2008 All-Tournament Team and a member of the Regional Championship Team. In her career at Briarcrest she scored 25 goals and assisted on 28.
In 2008, Doelling's team was state runner-up at Briarcrest and was runner up with her club team.
Doelling was being recruited by Milligan College and the University of the Ozarks. She chose Bethel because she liked the coaches and the girls on the Lady Wildcats soccer team and because she felt welcome.
