
The Mid-South Conference has announced the 2007 All-Conference Selections. Coaches in the Mid-South Conference reviewed nominations and voted for the players. The Players and Coaches of the Year will be announced on Thursday, November 15, 2007.
The Wildcats earning All-Conference offensive honors were: Beau Weiss, Offensive Lineman; Bruce Slusser, Offensive Lineman; Buck Reed, Tight End; Antonio Brown, Sr., Wide Receiver; Ronnie Jankovich, Quarterback; Adrain Smith, Running Back; Terrance Bell, Running Back.
On the defensive side, honorees were: Brenton Ford, Defensive Line; Cliff Barna, Defensie Line; Justin Cobb, Defensive Back; Markee Robinson, Linebacker; Julian Tyler, Kick Return Specialist.
Four ‘Cats were named Honorable Mention, they included: Ricky Currie, Running Back; Matt Wininger, Place Kicker; Brannen Bishop, Linebacker; BJ Banks, Defensive Back.
The Wildcats just wrapped up their regular season with a record of 10-1, the best record since football was reinstated in 1993. They will be hosting a First Round NAIA Championship Series game on November 17, 2007. The Wildcats will be playing #13 Pioneers of Mid-America Nazarene University from Olathe, Kan. Kick off is set for 2:30pm at Wildcat Stadium.
