Baker has been playing soccer since she was five years old and has been a four year starter for the Lawrence County Lady Wildcats. She has been selected as a two-time All-District player and has played on several club teams. This past season, her team was the District 8-AAA runner-ups.

Baker was being recruited by Delta State University and several other schools. She chose Bethel because it seemed like home and she felt welcomed by the coaches and players.
