MCKENZIE, Tenn. (03.31.10) - The Bethel Lady Wildcats took care of Fisk University by a combined score of 39-1 in their double header. Bethel took game one 15-0 and game two 24-1. Every Lady Wildcat saw action in the twin bill.
 

Game One

The pitching tandem of Amber Metzger and Katie Pacifici allowed just one hit and no walks in the win. Metzger, who picked up the win, went 2.0 innings allowing one hit and striking out four. Pacifici also went 2.0 innings and struck out five of the six batters she faced.

Kasey Winsett was 3 for 3 with 3 RBI and two runs scored. Metzger was 1 for 1 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Brittany Edmonds was 1 for 1 with two RBI and a run scored. Amanda Renfroe went 1 for 1 with 2 RBI and one run scored. Colby Prossser was 2 for 3 with a RBI and a run scored. Emily Roper was 2 for 4 with a RBI and scored 3 runs. Jennifer Townson was 1 for 1 with 2 runs scored. Megan Hinds walked, had a RBI and scored run.

Game Two

Bethel starter Katie Ervin went 3.0 innings to pick up the win allowing two hits, one run and she struck out four.

Renfroe was 3 for 3 with five RBI and three runs scored; including a towering homer to center field that hit the top of the new "batter's eye" fence and bounced over. Cummings was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI and three runs scored. Ashley Simmons was 3 for 3 with 2 RBI and three runs scored. Morgan Berry was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Brooke Cary wad 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Lindsey Davis was 2 for 3 with a RBI and 2 runs scored. Edmonds was 2 for 3 with a RBI and 2 runs scored. Metzger was 1 for 2 with a RBI and a run scored. Roper was 1 for 1 with a RBI and a run scored. Ervin was 2 for 2 with a RBI and 2 runs scored. Hinds was 1 for 1 with a RBI and a run scored.

Bethel improved to 10-13 (1-5) on the season. They will host the Lady Cougars of Mid-Continent University on Thursday, April 1, 2010 for a TranSouth double header starting at 2:00pm.
