MEMPHIS, Tenn. (04.03.10) - The Bethel women's soccer program has added Indigo Bailey to the 2010 recruiting class. Bailey will graduate from Central High School in Memphis. She is the daughter of Javier and Nedra Bailey.

Indigo has been playing soccer for fourteen years; she played one year at St. Mary's Episcopal School and the remainder of her high school career at Central High. She also plays club soccer for the Memphis Rush. She was recently named Best Offensive player on her 2009 high school team. Indigo plays both defender and forward.

Indigo was being recruited by Mississippi College, University of Evansville, and Jackson State University. She chose Bethel because she felt that it was where she needed to be, and she felt welcome.

Indigo holds executive positions in high school organizations, a member of pep club, and Bridge Builders. She plans on majoring in History while at Bethel in order to pursue a future career in politics.
