 McKenzie, TN - Bethel University's Men's Basketball program is excited to announce the addition of Aaron Hyndman to its 2010-2011 recruiting class.

Hyndman, a 6'6" forward for Charles Taylor's Creek Wood High School team, averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent from the field and 74 percent from the free throw line as a senior.  Aaron's number s helped lead his team to an undefeated District 11AA regular season and tournament championship. His performance on the floor throughout his senior year earned Aaron District 11AA MVP, District 11AA All-Tournament, and Region 6AA All-Tournament awards. In his four years at Creek Wood High, Aaron was a three time all-region, two time all-tournament, two time all-district, and one time district MVP selection. While his accomplishments on the court are impressive, Aaron is also known as a great leader off the court and in his community as well. The son of Tammy and Dale Hyndman, Aaron plans on majoring in Physical Therapy upon enrolling at Bethel. "I am excited about Aaron joining our program, he fits the criteria we look for in Character, Work Ethic and Intelligence and has the skills to be a good player on our level. I am looking forward to working with him for the next four years," Commented Bethel University Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Britt.
