"Evan is going to be a tremendous asset to the hockey program at Bethel," said Head In-line Hockey Coach Matt Swinea. "Even is very fast, plays physical and knows how to fill the net. Evan is also quality young man away from the game and will fit in well with our team."
Reams has been an assistant captain for the Golden Bears since his sophomore season. In the past three seasons, at Mt. Juliet, Reams has scored 20 goals and posted 26 assists. His biggest moment was scoring the game winning goal to win the GNASH Cup his freshman year. Reams believes the strongest strength he brings to the team is his speed. He hopes to improve on his stick handling and shooting accuracy.
Reams stated that he could not give up the opportunity to continue to play competitive hockey on a scholarship. He was considering going to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Middle Tennessee State University and Tennessee Tech.
Reams plans on majoring biology and later pursuing a degree in physical therapy or athletic training.
