Game One
Starter Leah Hensley allowing three runs on three hits in picking up the complete game win. LSUA scored all three runs in the second inning.
Bethel's offense pounded out nine hits and eight runs. Amanda Renfroe was 3 for 3 with a homer. Morgan Berry went 2 for 2 with a RBI. Lindsey Davis was 1 for 3 with a RBI. Brittany Edmonds was 1 for 3 with a RBI. Kasey Winsett was 1 for 2 with a RBI.
Game Two
Bethel scored two runs in the first innings and two more in the fifth to make sure they did not have to rally for the win in game two. Bethel starting pitcher Ashton Carnahan went 6.1 innings scattering nine hits and allowing two runs. Leah Hensley got the two final outs to pick up the save.
Offensively, Edmonds was 2 for 2 with a RBI and a run scored. Davis was 1 for 3 with a RBI and a runs scored. Katie Pacifici was 1 for 2 with a RBI. Shelby Cummings was 1 for 2 with a RBI and a run scored. Berry was 1 for 1 with two walks. Ashley Simmons was 1 for 2 with a run scored.
Bethel's record goes to 15-14 (2-6) on the season. The Lady Wildcats will be on the road to play Murray State University on Thursday, April 8, 2010 with first pitch at 2:00pm.
