Game One

Bethel trailed 3-0 after a three run fifth by MCU. But Bethel scored an unearned run and Amanda Renfroe hit a two-run homer to tie the score in the sixth. But, the Lady Cougars were able to plate a run in the bottom of the seventh to claim the win.

Katie Pacific started on the mound going four innings, allowing three hits; she walked two and struck out three. Leah Hensley went one inning allowing five hits and three runs; she walked one and struck out one. Ashton Carnahan went 1.1 innings allowing a run in four hits; She walked one and struck out two.

Renfroe was 1 for 3 with a 2-run homer. Jennifer Townson was 2 for 3. Lindsey Davis was 1 for 4 with a run scored.

Game Two

Leah Hensley bounced back in game two and went seven innings allowing only three hits in picking up the shutout win.

The Bethel offense also picked it up in the second half of the double header scoring six times on 10 hits.

Davis was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Townson was 2 for 3 with a RBI. Renfroe was 2 for 4 with a RBI and a run scored. Carnahan was 1 for 2 with a run scored and two walks. Brittany Edmonds was 1 for 4 with a RBI. Brooke Cary was 1 for 3 with a run scored.

Bethel is 16-17 (2-6) on the season. They will host Union University on Tuesday, April 13^th, 2010 for a double header with first pitch slated for 2:00pm.
