MCKENZIE, Tenn. (04.26.10) - The Wildcats men's soccer team has added forward Tyler Emler to the 2010 in-coming class. Emler has been a four year starter for the Yellow Jackets of Fairview. He is the son of Donnie and Angie Emler.
 

"Tyler is a great addition to our program," said Bethel Head Coach Melvin Belong. "We are looking for him to develop into a complete player during his time here at Bethel."

 

In addition to being a four year starter for Fairview, Emler has been on the Fairview Flames club team for the past eight. He was All-District in 2009 and was the team's leading scorer in 2008. For his career he has scored 50 goals and assisted on 30. This past year, he scored 19 goals with 9 assists. He served as the team captain his junior and senior years.

Emler was also being recruited by Union University and will major in Biology at Bethel.
